Do you know where your uniform is?

Photobucket

Why, yes, yes he does. In my neverending quest to get my kids to be more independent...I've put my boys each in charge of their baseball uniforms...I think Tanner is catching on. How long will this last? Will Jackson catch on? Only time will tell....

A Rare Family Photo....

Sjoberg family

Yup....I was going through my photo's..and I found this beauty. This was taken while on our trip to Yellowstone National Park...in August 2002. Eric and I thought the kids would LOVE this trip...why? Cuz they were little and love to be outside and play...so...we could hike and be outside....and they would just have a great time. WRONG. They complained...a lot. Their feet hurt...they were tired...they were bored...when are we going to do something fun....errrr. So we made the best of the trip...and decided to go back when the kids get older...we haven't been back since. Looking at the photo (Kaitlyn and Jackson) I'm reminded of how well they still get along. =0)

Caution: Genius at work.

Photobucket

Tanner is my thinker...always busying himself with a project...especially when the wii is unavailable to him....I hope he never gets too old for Tinker Toys....

I'm on my own...WHAT?

Yup...we've been married for over 16 years...and this was my first time alone with our kids for more than an overnight. Now... I've been alone with our kids plenty...as most of you know...Eric's work schedule IS NOT a nine to five...but for 3 days...TWICE? During Baseball season? I was skeptical. Eric has spent the last two weekends (Thrusday to Saturday) at Wood Badge...although we missed him...we had a BLAST!! I love my kids...and can hardly put into words the joy they bring to my life...and how uniquely different they are...maybe I am doing something right....=)

The Mariners...PLAY BALL!...

Tanner had his season opener on Saturday as well...this is his first year in "kid pitch"...a whole new world. He loves baseball...and is a great hitter...when he's not worried about the pitcher hitting him with the ball...what I've learned with "kid pitch" so far is...your team is only as good as your "pitcher" and your "catcher"....but tons of fun to watch these kids play. Jackson and Wes didn't care much for watching the game...they were busy keeping the "snack shack" in business.

Baseball...Athletics season opener....

Saturday morning was Jackson's first game with the Athletics...and machine pitch. He was excited to play..he learned lots at baseball camp the week before. The Athletics enjoyed a great victory...but I'm pretty sure Jackson still likes the team treats the best....

A Farewell of Sorts....

So...Kasey joined the Army...and we had a little party for him. I'm very excited about this decision..and I hope he learns many things...he's such a smart boy...and the sky's the limit. We wish you the best...and expect you to keep in touch on Facebook...

It's Easter...

Easter morning was good...a bit rushed...as our church starts at 8:30...but this left us the rest of the afternoon to enjoy the beautiful sunny day...and of course...Family.

Belle...what a nice lady...

I'm pretty sure Belle was Jackson's favorite...
