This year for Christmas presents for her brothers...Kaitlyn not only put thought into it...but much effort as well...she made University of Utah pillowcases (with help from aunt Kathi) for the boys...they LOVE them....

This year for Christmas...Santa scored BIG...Kaitlyn...and her camera...Jackson...and his video camera...Tanner...and his night vision goggles....and of course...24 hours of A Christmas Story...

A Bittersweet Christmas Eve.....

It's always difficult to celebrate the holidays...when the entire family is unable to be together...but this year....was especially difficult...Jen...we love you very much...and can't wait to once again...enjoy your company...and to ALL my family THANK YOU...you make me very proud ...=0)

Must be Santa.....

The boys got to visit with Santa last Saturday...our ward had a breakfast...and program...I had to bribe Jackson to sit on Santa's lap...I think he was worried Santa was going to tell him he was on the naughty list....

Sleep....if you dare...

Jackson has been obsessed with a dry erase marker he's been carrying around...so when Kaitlyn fell asleep...opportunity knocked...and he went for it....Kaitlyn actually woke up to the smell...now Jackson's on the hunt...for a non scented marker....I think I'll lock my bedroom door tonight...

A Night of Donuts..Hot Chocolate..Caroling...and FIRE...

Yup...we enjoyed another wonderful pack meeting...our cub master is AWESOME...we love her and her many talents. We enjoyed hot chocolate...donuts...candy canes...and being warm and cozy by the fire...as well as a hayride of Christmas caroling thru the neighborhood...

How to decorate your room for Christmas....

First...you must annoy your parents to death...because they think lights are a bad idea for an insomniac 7 year old...Second...when four strands aren't enough...beg for more...Third...DON'T get caught trying to take the tape...so you can hang them from the ceiling...Fourth...once your bed is fully decorated...proceed to party all night...because it's so BRIGHT...you can't possibly sleep....How many days 'til Christmas?!?!

These boys spent the afternoon shoveling driveways in the circle...because they love to shovel....who needs a snowblower...they did a great job...and had lots of fun....
