Pumpkin Carving......

Who doesn't LOVE pumpkin carving....me..just kiddin'...but it is a whole lot better with Eric around...three kids with sharp knives was a little tuff to keep track of...and next year...I will be following my neighbor's example...clean out the guts outside...

I love Halloween...and yesterday our neighbor was out taking pictures of her kids in their costumes...her two year old was a chef..and her newborn was a sack of flower...very very cute...It got me to thinking back to when Halloween was cute for us...this year...not so much...Jackson is a skeleton..which he hates (a whole other story...and some much needed therapy)...and Tanner is the thing from scream...yup..with blood shooting thru the mask...and Kaitlyn is a witch...she's actually not trick-or-treating but has a costume party to go too...so I thought I'd share these ...when Halloween was CUTE....

I really liked this spot...however...the kids...not so much...they were a little afraid of the bees in the hole in the fence.....like a good mom....I made them pose anyway....

More adventures...at the Farmington Trail...

Yeah..I was after the perfect shot...and I did get some that I absolutely love...I learned that I can find great spots...but as for posing...I seemed to be at a loss...I have alot to learn...

Yup..the adventure continues...Jackson was difficult to pose...he did not want to follow directions...this caused meltdowns...next...he found this cute little knome thingy...it had writing on the bottom...some phrases meant to inspire the finder of this knome...he thought he should keep this...I did not...he needed to put it back....well....you can see the pictures. We still wanted to drive up the canyon....for more pictures...and he was done...so we stopped for lunch first...and let him drink a LARGE coke...he was a new boy....for awhile...

We started out at the Farmington trail...



I love fall...not just any fall...the fall when the leaves on the trees turn beautiful colors....at the end of October...not the end of September...an Indian Summer. Every year we head up the canyon...and take fall pictures...I love it! My kids tolerate it...sort of. I took almost 200 shots...did I mention...I'm obsessed with fall...the color...the smell...the 70 degrees...anyway..I am sharing our adventure with you...enjoy!

kaitlyn....

Since Kaitlyn never has time to post....homework is her life...I'll post this one. For young womens...they did beauty makeovers...Kaitlyn learned alot about make-up...and so did I...I think she's beautiful....

Jackson.....

Yeah...he's grounded AGAIN....I've decided to keep him busy this time...he should hate being grounded...so he's currently dusting my living room...and...I have a list a mile long...wish him luck... or me...I hope this works...*crosses fingers*

Yup...today...I tortured the dog....

I found this costume the other day....and I've had fun at the dog's expense ever since....she hates this costume..when I put it on...she won't move...kinda nice...and yeah...I'm still her favorite....

Body Worlds 3....

For UEA this year we took the kids to Body Worlds...Eric couldn't get the whole four days off so his families Park City condo was out this year....however...Body Worlds was completely amazing..we weren't sure how the kids would enjoy it...but...they liked it. It was an unbelievable detailed look at the inner workings of the human body...and everything was real...incredible..if you get the chance you should go...I was surprised at what exhibits held my kids' attention...the exhibits were very detailed...and Jackson noticed the eyelashes....you thought I was going to write something else didn't you....

Yeah..it's the 5th and final installment of that birthday...

Well...we knew it would have to come to an end...and we did have families to get back to...and reality...plus my cold medicine and several tylenol were wearing off...We had a splendid time...and we want Kris to know we love her very much...and we're here....ALWAYS....and it's okay....the walkie talkies weren't following us....
