Chuck E. Cheese....

So...we were down to just one kid tonight...yeah...it was Jackson...I know...hard to call him one kid...cuz he's more like 5 or 6...anyway...we decided to do something fun with him...and since Chuck E. Cheese just opened...that's where we went...in a word...CROWDED...we tried to talk him into going somewhere else...but no. We still have like 20 tokens left...cuz Jackson had the most fun just playing on the playground...I think he did that so we'd have to come back sometime and use the tokens....I know how his mind works....and I don't like these pictures...but I forgot my camera...I know...hard to believe...for me it would be like forgetting an arm or a leg....but I forgot...and so I had to turn to the sketch machine...nothing like trying to pose in a booth while tons and tons of people stand in line and watch....*shivers*...I was desperate...

38....again

So...I hate my birthdays...however...this year...not so bad...I didn't age this year...yup...all year long I thought I was 38...turns out...today....I'm 38...

Birthday Surprise!

Tanner and Eric decided to surprise me for my birthday today...Eric took Tanner to the dentist this morning...then dropped him off at school...when he told me about the appointment...all he said was he had x-rays..and had to take him back in 6 weeks...to check them after they heal....so I thought he would have fangs for six weeks...and would tell him NOT to smile for his school pictures...SURPRISE...they were fixed this morning....yay!!

Down on the Farm....Mink that is...

Another mink...found by are neighborhood mink hunter...Charlie...I was outside this morning talking to my neighbor (and friend) Jill...her little guy..Charlie...comes over to us and says "I found a mink!" Sure enough..in our window well...was this little guy....

Face Road Rash....Not Much Fun....

So...this is what happens when you DON'T listen to your mom...as it turns out...not only was he not supposed to be riding his scooter while his friend was pulling him on his bike...he wasn't supposed to be over in the next circle...karma...i told him it's bad karma...cuz he didn't listen to me...I'm pretty sure he still won't listen to me...the chipped teeth...are my most favorite part...yeah...the dentist totally owns us...

Need A Ride?...

I went outside to check on Jackson...to find him giving rides in his Jeep....with the neighbors wagon...This jeep has supplied endless amounts of entertainment...he's almost to big for it...and he's trying to talk us into a bigger one....

Not your typical Sunday.....

This morning in church we learned that animal rights activist released over 7,000 minks from the mink farm West of our house...so...if we find any...please return them...oh boy did we find them...Ginger found the first one...then our boys along with the neighbor boys..went mink hunting...two were caught in our circle....we headed down to the field where tons of volunteers were helping to get these minks back home....on our walk back home...we found several more...they tell us...we should be finding them for days....oh boy.... they figure around 2,000 are still missing....

We spent today at Gardner Village...we love to go this time of year...it's decorated for Halloween...and the witches are everywhere. We wandered through the stores and had some great laughs over lunch...a great time! And I found my Christmas story for this year...so I'm super happy!

I have more...plenty more....

Ahh...Sunday drives....

Yeah...he was done...

One of my favorite memories growing up...is our family Sunday drives....which by the way were very pleasant...as there was no Jackson...but..thats what my ipod is for..he just doesn't get why we drive around aimlessly. Growing up I enjoyed the scenery...the spending time with my family...and of course the radio...on our drive today...we stopped at the Farmington Pond..so Jackson could run off some energy...just to become upset...because we had no fishing poles...or nets...to catch fish....yeah...we love him...and someday...we'll get it right...*fingers crossed*...

The Legacy Parkway....

It's about time...the Legacy Parkway opened yesterday...and on Monday we'll find out if this helps Eric's commute in any way...we're hoping it's cut down by at least 20 minutes...and he now can avoid I-15 altogether.. .and you must drive
