The above message was played Friday at my childrens elementary school. Now, I'll admit that when my boys arrived home from school to tell me about it...I was sort of listening. Then tonight...I watched the story unfold on the local news...hmmm. Then I watched the video. While I'll admit...it didn't start off bad...but then...it went completely downhill...FAST. I'm extremely disappointed in the lack of integrity displayed by school officials in allowing this to be shown. (I hope in the future you view material before it's presented). It is NOT American to be a servant to our President. I pledge NEVER to be a servant to ANY elected official. And thanks so much for leaving me to explain what some of the pledeges mean to my seven year old..back to school night should be fun.

Our first lighthouse . . .

Our first lighthouse visit was Yaquina Head. It was foggy...windy...and beautiful. We stopped by this lighthouse for another visit on a sunny day..but..that's another post.

I have lived these pictures for days now...and I've only posted a very few. (It was hard to stop) I learned a TON. (sizing...grrrr) among other things...but...live and learn.....and learn I did...and most importantly... I enjoyed the journey. =)

School . . .YAY!

I'm pretty excited for school this year...yup...I have alot of projects to be done...and now I have time. However, the best part....my bff quit her job...and I have plans.
