Body Worlds 3....

For UEA this year we took the kids to Body Worlds...Eric couldn't get the whole four days off so his families Park City condo was out this year....however...Body Worlds was completely amazing..we weren't sure how the kids would enjoy it...but...they liked it. It was an unbelievable detailed look at the inner workings of the human body...and everything was real...incredible..if you get the chance you should go...I was surprised at what exhibits held my kids' attention...the exhibits were very detailed...and Jackson noticed the eyelashes....you thought I was going to write something else didn't you....

Yeah..it's the 5th and final installment of that birthday...

Well...we knew it would have to come to an end...and we did have families to get back to...and reality...plus my cold medicine and several tylenol were wearing off...We had a splendid time...and we want Kris to know we love her very much...and we're here....ALWAYS....and it's okay....the walkie talkies weren't following us....

So... once the mall could no longer hold our birthday girl's attention...we moved on to Target...to check out the latest fashions...Target Style...we learned it's cheapest not to buy...put the item on...take a picture...put the item back...it's totally free...and you own it on film forever...

Happy Birthday to our sister Kris..Oct. 5th..Part 1...

We took Kris out last night for her birthday...it was actually October 5th...but since I was sick...they waited for me to feel somewhat better. We started the evening at Cafe Rio...the birthday girl wanted Chuck E. Cheeses..but I'd already been there...Kris and I had the Pork salad...Julie did not....

The Pumpkin Patch....

First...let me start by saying...Everyone needs a Jill...Second...if Jackson could choose a mom...it would be Jill....he wishes everyday to move across the street and be an Olsen...I'm not opposed to this...most days...She took Jackson with her to the pumpkin patch last week...and he had a blast! When they got back they pushed their pumpkins around in strollers...Thanks for the pictures Jill...very cute!

An unexpected evening out....

We're always excited to go see plays at the Hale Center Theater...so...when Eric's boss called with tickets...we said yes. The play was Into the Woods...now I would tell you what this was about but the Synopsis insert in the program was 2 full pages...and single spaced...and...the play was 3 hours long...yeah....alot happened...basically a bunch of fairytales were involved...Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, Rapunzel...etc...and at intermission...Eric and I would have been perfectly happy to pretend the play ended there...and leave....plus..I started to feel sick...turns out I had the flu...this play was last Wednesday...Thursday was awful...Friday..is a blur...Saturday...well let's just say...now...I have double ear infections...and still can't breathe...I would say the flu shot is a good idea...

Getting together....

I came across a website..where she had scrapbooked recipe cards...so I thought...we can do that...so we did. On Saturday Julie and Meghan came over to watch conference...and create with me...I made Taco soup...Kaitlyn made cookies...and we had a great time!

The note.....

k...so here's the scoop on the note...Jackson can't seem to mind this week....well most weeks...but this week is particularly bad...so...he keeps getting grounded...about his evening meltdown time...I give him a warning...(thanks super nanny) and he just can't seem to accept my warning...so...he ends up getting grounded...this does not bother him....until...the following day after school...when he can't go out and play...so on Tuesday...his second day of being grounded he brought me home this note...it says Mom...To be a kid that means not to ground me...a few spelling errors...and...the date in the upper right corner...good try little buddy....I was outside telling Jill about the note...we laughed...she told Jackson to mind...cuz her boys are dying to play with him...so with lots of luck last night....and the Olsen boys pulling for him...he is not grounded today....so far...
